MENders (Batterers Intervention Program)
The goal of MENders is to end violence in families and other relationships. Menders is a support group. It provides a safe environment that allows men to explore the roots of their abusive behavior and learn ways to change. Men in the group will experience support and solidarity from other men who are working to change their lives. It is a 52 week treatment program in accord with Oklahoma judicial requirements for men who are court ordered to complete a domestic violence treatment program.

Group Process
The MENders group contains specific focuses on: communication skills, healthy relationship skills, anger management, relapse prevention, masculinity issues, parenting skills, empathy towards others, assertiveness development and improved self awareness and self acceptance.

Enrollment
To enroll in MENders, you will need to come to the SDVS Parents Assistance Center located at 115 E. 4th in Stillwater. It is located at the corner of 4th and Lewis. At that time you can pick up an information packet and schedule an intake appointment.
