A protective order is an order of the court on behalf of a victim of domestic abuse, harassment, stalking or rape.  It is an order for the abuser to stop hurting, threatening, and harassing and stalking the victim.

In any relationship that is abusive, there are safety issues that might need to be addressed.  If you need assistance in developing a safety plan for yourself and/or your children, our staff is available to assist you with this matter at no cost to you.
